QdoShare starts in the top-right corner — the spot that works for most presentations — and then gets out of your way. Grab the title bar and drag the timer to any pixel on any monitor. Top-left so the camera can see it during a recorded talk. Bottom-right so it sits next to your dock. Mid-screen on a second display so the room can read it. Wherever the moment calls for, the timer follows.
Get the Timer — FreeA timer that's locked to one spot is a timer that's wrong half the time. The top-right corner that works for a code demo is terrible for a slide deck whose title sits there. The bottom-right that works on a 16:9 laptop is wrong on a 21:9 monitor where it lands in the middle of the screen.
Every presenter has been in the room where the timer is "in the way" — covering the one number someone needs to see, or sitting in a corner no one is looking at. The fix isn't a smarter default. The fix is letting the presenter put the timer wherever the room needs it.
QdoShare treats positioning as a first-class feature, not a setting. Drag, drop, present. No config file, no preferences dialog, no keyboard shortcuts to memorize. If you can move a window, you can position this timer.
For recorded presentations, you may want the timer in the top-left so it's visible in the webcam frame without covering your slide content. QdoShare goes there in one drag.
Presenter view on the laptop, slides on the projector. Drag the timer to the projector screen so the audience can see the time too — without it ever appearing on your private notes.
Some slide templates put critical content in every corner. Drag the timer to the least-busy corner of the current slide — and move it again on the next slide if you need to.
In a lecture hall, students need to see the time from across the room. Drag the timer to the projector's bottom edge, make it bigger, and the whole class stays on pace with you.
For timed quizzes or trivia, place the timer front-and-center on the shared screen. Players see exactly how many seconds are left, and the energy in the room follows the digits.
On a touchscreen, just touch and drag the timer wherever you want it. No precision required — the title bar is wide enough to grab with a fingertip.

QdoShare's window has no OS title bar (we removed it for cleaner aesthetics), so we built a custom grab region at the top of the window. Click anywhere in that region and the timer follows your cursor pixel-for-pixel.
The timer opens in the top-right corner of your primary monitor, ~20px from the edges. It's visible immediately on most slide decks without covering typical content zones.
Drag the timer across monitor boundaries and it follows without hesitation. No "snap back to primary," no permission prompts. Just one timer that lives wherever you put it.
